Privacy Policy

The short version

We collect the details you type into our forms so we can reply to your enquiry. We do not sell your information, we do not add you to a marketing list without asking, and we do not share it with anyone except the service providers listed below who help us run the site.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you use the Get Started form or the contact form we collect what you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, business name, industry, current website and platform, approximate business size, and whatever you write about your goals.

Information collected automatically

If analytics are enabled on this site, standard web analytics data is collected, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, referring site, device type and browser. This is used in aggregate to understand which pages are useful. Our lead endpoint also records the originating IP address briefly in memory for rate limiting, which is a spam control and is not stored long term.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote or proposal.
• To provide, maintain and support the services you engage us for.
• To understand how the website is used so we can improve it.
• To meet legal, accounting and tax obligations.

We do not use your enquiry details for unrelated marketing. If we ever want to send you something beyond a reply to your own enquiry, we will ask first.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the providers that make this site and our services work. Depending on configuration, those may include our website host, our analytics provider, our email provider and our customer relationship management platform. Each processes data on our behalf under their own terms.

We may also disclose information where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to protect our rights or somebody safety.

Cookies and tracking

This site loads analytics or advertising scripts only when the corresponding measurement identifier has been configured. When none is set, no analytics cookies are written. Where analytics are active, you can block cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers also offer a do not track signal that we respect where our providers support it.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as we are in conversation with you, and afterwards for as long as we need them for our records and legal obligations. If you ask us to delete your details and we are not required to keep them, we will.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, object to how we use it, or receive a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these, email hello@elevatexautomation.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.

If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. Secrets such as API keys and webhook endpoints are stored as server side environment variables and are never exposed in the browser. No system is perfectly secure, so we do not claim otherwise, but we take reasonable technical measures appropriate to the information we hold.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes affecting how we use information you have already given us will be communicated directly where we hold a way to reach you.
